Mental Health Resource. The Life Skills worker provides intensive in-home services to families with open child welfare cases who are at risk for continued abuse and neglect. The Life Skills worker will address and teach skills in subject areas such as the use of effective parenting strategies and appropriate forms of discipline, budgeting and general household management, effective communication, organization, time management, and conflict resolution, as well as providing knowledge on the developmental and emotional stages that children experience as they grow.
