Communicare is the community mental health center serving the Northern Central counties of Mississippi, including Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Tate, and Yalobusha. In addition to outpatient offices in each county served, Communicare is involved a number of projects, including a mental health education program designed to destigmatizing mental illness, a merchant education training program focusing on reducing tobacco sales to minors, and a prevention partnership with the goal of bringing empirically supported prevention programs to Communicare's service area.
