The Pine Belt Coalition on Homelessness is one of 6 homeless coalitions in a 72-county Continuum of Care, named the Balance of State. It covers 9 counties total, including Forrest, Lamar, Jones, Perry, Greene, Jefferson Davis, Wayne, Marion, and Covington Counties. It also consists of social service agencies, faith-based entities, and concerned citizens, all working towards the goal to address and put an end to homelessness in this community.

The coalition meets every third Tuesday of the month at 3 p.m. Locations vary. All meetings are included under Calendar of Events on this page and on the coalition's Facebook page,‚ @pbcoalition, along with updates and events concerning homelessness.
