The City’s goal is to ensure that homeless and impoverished members of our community receive structured, goal-oriented assistance. The intent is to ensure that those in need have the resources to lift themselves to a safe, stable environment without enabling those for whom addiction, crime, and vagrancy are a continuing choice.
In coordination with the Hub City Outreach Team and the Pine Belt Coalition for Homelessness, several resources have been aggregated for use should you come into contact with someone experiencing homelessness. This resource guide provides referral information for crisis lines, food programs, homeless shelters, medical services and more.
